Supported Employment Services (SES) & Employment Alternative Services (EAS)
Dakota Communities provides specialized direct care professionals for one to one employment support. Our services are provided in the individual’s home and in their community. Dakota Communities also participates in a program combining Supported Employment Services with Personal Supports. Through this program we assist people to build skills in home care, social and self-care, recreation, and community involvement in addition to their employment skills.
Our focus is the development of personal outcomes plans with a commitment to realizing potential. Help is provided to develop the perfect employment plan with individuals and companies throughout the Twin Cities. Support includes:
Job search coaching and support with:
• Discovering interest, talents, and skills
• Creating resumes and cover letters
• Establishing interviewing skills
• Targeting companies for preferred employment
Providing on-going coaching and support with:
• Job skills
• Social skills
• Transportation alternatives
